After several months and a steep learning curve, I am pleased to announce the launch of my new website.
My existing subscribers have been migrated over, BUT unfortunately I could not import your encrypted passwords. If you later want to change your details (like screen name or email address), you will have to use the “lost password” option. You can do so by clicking on the yellow registration button.
The Global Indie Author blog has been integrated with my other (neglected) blogs. You can now read about my exploits around Vancouver, or about my thoughts on art and cultural/social issues, without having to jump around. If you need to find a particular subject or TGIA update, click on the Categories button for a list to narrow your search, or you can use the Search option.
My thanks to fellow members and volunteers on the WordPress support forums; to Catch Themes, whose free Clean Box theme I modified for this site; and to the following WordPress plugin developers whose creations helped me achieve my goal: WordPress Importer by WordPress, Velvet Blues Update URLs by velvet blues, Smart Slider 3 by Nextend, Sassy Social Share by Team Heateor, Image Widget by Modern Tribe, Easy Social Icons by CyberNetikz, Adaptive Images for WordPress by nevma, and Import users from CSV with meta by Alberto Hornero and Javier Carazo. If you also use these free themes or plugins, please hit the donate button so they can continue to produce such useful code.
